After 12 amazing chapters of musical insanity, with characters and plot twists so bizarre and surreal they could creep out Salvador Dali, you might have thought that R. Kelly’s epic music video masterpiece Trapped In The Closet was a complete, finished work of art. Well, you would be wrong, because the hip-hopauteur has created a stunning 10 ADDITIONAL CHAPTERS to his genius saga, the entirety of which you’ll soon be able to enjoy on IFC. While Trapped’s plot became incomprehensibly convoluted somewhere between the accidental shooting and the midget with bowel control problems, the strange pleasure of watching people sing insane things to each other has never left us, which is why we couldn’t be more excited to see what sort of craziness R. has in store for us. Here’s our exclusive first look at some of the new footage, in the first (and probably only) installment of BWE’s Awesomepiece Theater, hosted our own Chuck Nice.
