Yes, folks, this secret transsexual dating game is on its way to our shores, in an event that will surely be described to future generations as “the Jenny Jones Incident of 2007.” It’s called There’s Something About Miriam, and while the title would have you believe it’s a show about a slutty orthodox Jewish girl, it’s actually much more disturbing than that — a transsexual secretly set up with hot men who have no idea she’s packing heat. Based on the UK version, seen in the above clip and all over Youtube, the tranny is pretty hot — though we would love for John Travolta as Edna Turnblatt to role up on screen in the first episode. Anyway, news to struggling actors in LA — if you find yourself at a casting audition for a new dating reality show, and one of the questions they ask you is “if you have a tendency to fly off the handle when confronted with a tucked-back peen”, think long and hard (that’s what she-he said) about whether you’ve got the guts to compete on this show.
