If you weren’t one of those highfalutin’ kids who got fancy-pants toys like Transformers, instead having to play with whatever knock-off action figure your parents would occasionally pick up at the 99 Cents store, you may be less enthusiastic about Michael Bay’s forthcoming summer blockbuster. You may be looking for something a little…lower budg. If so, GOBOTS might be more your speed. Sure, they’re not quite as detailed as their Transformer counterparts, and even when you change their shape they don’t ever really look much like anything other than a futuristic robot, but that just means your fun requires a little more imagination. And lucky for you,GOBOTS: The Movie is also making its (appropriately less auspicious) way to the big screen! Sort of.
