EXCLUSIVE: Lindsay Says The Party Must Go On!

lindsay_pure_053007.jpgThey tried to make her go to rehab, but she said “no, no, no”! BWE.tv has exclusively confirmed that Lindsay Lohan – currently on a 14-day “lockdown” at Promises rehab center – is determined to celebrate her 21st birthday (and the end of her rehab stint) at Las Vegas’ Pure nightclub on July 2, as previously scheduled, whether there’s a liquor sponsor or not. Additionally, we learned that widespread reports of Svedka Vodka pulling their sponsorship from the party are actually false, as the vodka company had never officially confirmed the sponsorship to begin with.

Despite reports that suggest the party is on the verge of being cancelled since the venue, Pure nightclub, may pull out and that Svedka vodka has already pulled out as a sponsor, Lindsay’s New York-based lawyer friend Mike Heller, exclusively tells BWE.tv, “That is not accurate,” says Heller, who runs Talent Resources, a company that books celebs for commercial events. “There is a birthday party scheduled that she is contracted to do at Pure. It’s scheduled for July 2. That hasn’t changed. Nothing has been cancelled as of now.” In fact, the deal for Lindsay’s party was inked last December, Heller says. Get the rest of the exclusive details after the jump!

A friend who has spoken to Lindsay since she entered rehab tells BWE.tv, “Lindsay said she’s doing the party in Vegas, no matter what.” Heller adds that the only possible thing that could happen, if Lindsay’s wanted to hold off in the party is that, “It would be moved. Like we would exchange it for another party. Like exchange it with a New Years’ Eve party instead of a birthday party.” But he adds, that’s extremely unlikely.

A rep for Pure declined to comment on the party, but a source at the club tells BWE.tv, “Pure is not getting skittish about having the party. No one is concerned. She’s a friend of Pure, and they have no issues hosting her party. There’s already a 16×16 banner hanging outside the club, and flyers have been sent out!”

As for the widespread reports that Svedka pulled out of sponsoring the party, Heller tells BWE.tv, “Svedka was never a sponsor. It was never confirmed. They never signed a contract. I would not allow a liquor sponsor.” Heller says various companies are interested in sponsoring the party, and that non-alcoholic beverages like bottled water and energy drink brands are likely participants.

Heller scoffs at the notion that Lindsay shouldn’t celebrate her birthday at a nightclub, where liquor abounds. “Just because you’re sober doesn’t mean you can’t go out and have fun. Part of sobriety is that you can go out into normal society and just go out. Who say’s you can’t move your boot on the dance floor?”

And Lindsay sure maybe be in the mood to party after rehab. BWE.tv has exclusively learned from a Lindsay pal, “Lindsay is on lock-down for 14 days. She’s not allowed visitors at certain times and she can’t leave.” In fact, Lindsay’s manager-mom Dina has remained on the East Coast, and not yet headed to California, another source tells BWE.tv, since she has to watch over her other children Ali and Dakota.

Still, the friend adds, “Lindsay says she’s doing great in rehab. This was something that she decided to do on her own. It’s a good thing. She’s in a better frame of mind and she’s getting the treatment she needs.”

And the friend adds that Lindsay is well aware of past starlets who didn’t get the help they needed in time. “The thing with her is that she’s so talented, that she realizes that some Hollywood icons like, Marilyn Monroe, died without getting that help.”
