Young Hollywood is abuzz over reports that naughty-by-nature Lindsay Lohan has entered rehab — again! Among the rehabbed starlet’s friends who are encouraged by LiLo’s admission to Promises rehab in Malibu, Calif., is her partying pal Brittny Gastineau.

In an exclusive interview with BWE.tv on Monday afternoon, just hours after Lindsay checked herself into Promises, Brittny, 24, said she supports Lindsay’s decision. “I think she should do whatever is going to make her happy,” Brittny exclusively told us, “She should do what’s good for her. If she thinks she should go into rehab, then she shoud do it. It’s about her needs: Not the people around her, like managers and lawyers. It really is whatever is best for her. Obviously it’s a good move. I wish her well.”

And while the chattering classes are buzzing that Lindsay’s days as a hot star are numbered, thanks to her alcohol-induced antics, the Gastineau Girls star begs to differ. “Of course, she’ll be fine,” said Brittny. “Everyone has their ups and downs.”

And Brittny is no stranger to Lindsay’s nocturnal activities: She and Lindsay spent last Christmas Eve at Manhattan’s Lotus nightclub, but Lindsay, who was attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings at the time, didn’t drink. In fact, when watermelon martini shots and a bottle of vodka were sent to her table, Lindsay passed.
