Buy Bo Duke’s General Lee!

GenLee1.jpgScrew the Batmobile and Your Mother the Lame-Ass Talking Car. Hands down the coolest ride on TV was the General Lee. You could slide across the hood! Its horn played “Dixie”! It didn’t have doors! Well now John Schneider, aka Bo Duke, is selling off his General, providing a rambling description of its history on eBay. Why he would ever part with such an epic piece of machinery is beyond me. (Maybe he’s taking his death on Smallville particularly hard.) But his loss is your gain. This 1969 Dodge Charger has autographs from all surviving cast members under the hood and was used as the General Lee in–as he describes it–”the last REAL Dukes of Hazzard movie The Dukes Go to Hollywood.” (Now, I don’t mean to correct Bo Duke here, but I’m fairly certain he’s made a mistake. By The Dukes Go to Hollywood, I’m fairly certain he’s refering to: The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood. Common error. It’s cool, Bo. It’s cool.)

The current price on the car is $2.3 million. But here’s the good news: You still have two days left to bid! So open up those checkbooks. We know secretly you’ve always yearned to own a car with a Confederate flag painted on the roof.
