In a desperate attempt to win back viewers to his fledgling season of The Apprentice, Donald Trump has finally done the unthinkable: Handled Rosie O’Donnell‘s undergarments. The NY Post reports that Trump sent Rosie’s black leather corset and “giant underpants” from the movie Exit to Eden to the offices of The View, specifically to the office of Barbara Walters (Happy 80th Nightmare, Barb.) For those of you that don’t remember Exit to Eden (bless), it was an “S&M comedy” starring Rosie in a leather get-up that earned 6 dollars at the box office (and you can thank a chub chaser in Indiana for that one.) Says Trump:
“I sent it to Barbara to hang in her office because I didn’t want it in mine. It was funny, except that it was really gross. It’s disgusting. I feel sorry for [Rosie's] wife. It can’t be pleasant.”
You know, we actually thought this was pretty funny at first. In fact, we imagined Rosie herself laughing at Trump’s reference to 90s box-office poison. But then the guy had to open his mouth and totally devoid the stunt of any humor.
In the meantime, here’s to hoping they use the underpants to sling genetically mutated watermelons into Trump’s backyard.
