From A SOCIALITES LIFE — Walk Hard premiered last night at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in LA. All the indie-hip celebs came out of hiding to hear John C. Reilly perform. Check out the photos, after the jump!
John Mayer Looks Like a High School Musical Dad
Now this looks like it could be an interesting family photo, if you use your imagination–Dad, the musician, and his teenage daughter and son. I can just see Vanessa and Zac trying to convince their dad, John, not to wear his guitar hat out because it’s dorky and won’t impress anyone. It’s all very “Gossip Girl.” Well, these guys all happened to run into each other at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles for the premiere of “Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story.” It seems like it must have been quite a production, with the star of the film, John C. Reilly, performing live in character. Now that’s a nice touch. It’s a shame that Ray Charles and Johnny Cash were too diva to do that at the premiere of their biopics…oh wait, now this is awkward, isn’t it? Moving on, Ricki Lake, rumored to be hooking up with John Mayer, was at the premiere with him and his good buddy Justin Long. But it was Justin, who was making some interesting PDA on the red carpet, preparing to engage in what looks like some serious tongue-kissing with his brother Christian. Oh boys. You so silly.
