The Internet loves Michael Showalter so much, the comedian took the whole thing over a few weeks ago as promotion for his new comedy album Sandwiches & Cats. That’s right. When you were reacting to 2 Girls 1 Cup? You were actually reacting to Showalter. When you were watching that cheerleader get blown out by the football team crashing through paper mache? Showalter was that cheerleader. And when you read on Detour that Tom Hanks’s kid was probably the killer in that new movie with Diane Lane playing an FBI agent with a mom haircut and a trigger-happy mouse, it was Michael Showalter who told us to tell you about that. What were we going to do? He was in control of the Internet. Jeez. Watch the way he uses the Internet to masterfully slice Zach Galifianakis’s wallet to worthless little bits.
