Chicago Police Come To Senses And Drop Charges Against The LaBeouf Before Someone Gets Hurt

1212_shia_ex.jpgA few weeks back when I reported to you that my hero The LaBeouf had been unfairly arrested by a few overly-aggressive police officers at a Chicago-area Walgreens, I was in no way concerned for Shia’s well-being. The Beef could easily take care of himself in even the most dire of situations, such as a to-the-death knife-fight in which he was unarmed against a gang of ruthless mercenaries in a secret Al-Qaeda POW camp, from which The LaBeouf would emerge victorious, then also find and eliminate Osama Bin Laden with his bare hands because he had a few extra minutes to kill. So anyway, I was more concerned about the safety of the cops who arrested him, and the employees of the Walgreens from whence he was taken. But according to this report, it seems like they’ve finally realized who they’re dealing with and dropped all charges against His LaBeoufness:

Shia showed up in court this morning to receive the good news — Walgreens does not want to pursue charges against him. Merry early Christmas!

Shia’s attorney tells TMZ the actor is “happy to put this behind him and get back to work .”

The LaBeouf also went on to say he’s happy that he’s not going to be forced to launch a brutal Rambo-like vigilante assault upon the city of Chicago, laying waste to the offending Walgreens in a terrifying storm of fire, bullets and blood. Though if a pharmacy chain should ever make the mistake of testing the patience of The Beef again, I should doubt that they will be so lucky…
