We were lucky to have actress Ellen Page – star of the buzz-oozing new film Juno (in theaters today) – drop by our studios last week for a word with us about awards. See, she had just won the Gotham Award for Best Actor the night before, and the press is already speculating there might be more where that came from, so I thought we’d have a word about some other kinds of awards and accolades, which turned out to be a pretty terrible idea. Confusion, resentment and violence ensued, culminating in my having to physically restrain her from leaving the building with our Webby Award. Okay, it may not happened like that, but still, just watch. And go see Juno if you’re smart and cool and like stuff that’s good.
