If you didn’t notice my liveblog from last night’s mtvU Woodie Awards (you know, the one where Spank Rock hijacked my Macbook and started freestylin’ all over the post), well, I went. Not really sure why, but I did. All I’ve got to show for it are ears that are still ringing from all the mall-rock chorus whines, a more visceral sense of my own aging, and this video showcasing some of the night’s most compelling red carpet babblebanter with the likes of Talib Kweli, Keenan Thompson, Fall Out Boy, and a whole bunch of other angry emo bands I don’t really understand.
