We hate to end Thursday on such a sour note, but we have some bad news to deliver to men all over the world: Natalie Portman has vowed to never get naked again! Well, on screen at least. (We think this means you still have a shot.)
It seems Portman regrets stripping down to her skivvies with Jason Schwartzman in Hotel Chevalier this year – which we actually thought was some sort of “Girl to a Woman” celebrity right of passage. Here are the anti-nip-squad details:
Natalie Portman has said she will never get naked again on the big screen after regretting a nude scene in her new short film Hotel Chevalier.
Directed by Wes Anderson as a prelude to The Darjeeling Limited, her saucy on screen antics were posted on the internet earlier this year – many months before the movie hit festivals in September.
The actress said she felt awkward about doing it, and has vowed to not participate in any flesh baring scenes again.
She said: “I’m really sorry I didn’t listen to my intuition. From now on, I’m going to trust my gut more. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is say no.”
Here’s the good news: If she’s actually going to trust her gut — which we now know, thanks to Hotel Chevalier, resembles the gut of a starving, homeless greyhound — chances are she’s not really serious about her never-nuding. Because even those shorts on the right are not effectively hiding her thunder.
