Reports are surfacing that Kate Hudson has dumped actor Dax :Kind-Of-Like-Dane-Cook-But-Better” Shepard because — wait for it — she wants Owen Wilson back. Maybe because that first suicide attempt didn’t do him in altogether?
Kate Hudson is reportedly trying to get back with her troubled ex, Owen Wilson, after dumping her boyfriend. Hudson and comedian Dax Shepard, 32, had dated for more than three months, and pictures of them kissing are believed to have led Wilson to attempt to take his own life in August by slitting his wrists.
Wedding Crashers star Owen, 38, is now doing fine and recently attended a movie premiere. A source says Hudson, 28, broke up with Wilson after an 18-month romance because of his lifestyle.
The insider said: ‘After his suicide attempt, she realized how much she loved him and broke up with Dax.’
Another source said: ‘It wasn’t working out. It was a clean break.’ Wilson who starred with Hudson in Me, You and Dupree, was blamed for breaking up her marriage to rocker Chris Hudson.
Here’s the one thing I will say about this little story: If, in fact, Owen Wilson does get back together with her, not only will I kind of hate her, but I’ll lose all respect for him, and, while we’re at it, his brothers. Doesn’t he realize she ain’t no good, son? This isn’t some sort of movie, K-Hud, it’s a person’s life. Plus, we really don’t want him to for real off himself next dump around. Think twice!
