Interview: Michael Ian Black is Immodest
Stella star Michael Ian Black‘s first ever stand-up album, I Am a Wonderful Man, is in stores today. To celebrate the occasion, The University of Georgia’s student paper has an interview with the State alum. Here’s an excerpt:
Black opted to pose nude – in front of a fire on a bearskin rug with
glasses of champagne – for a centerfold in the album’s artwork."Like anyone, I don’t necessarily want my [testicles] hanging out in front of a camera," Black said in a conference call.
As such, Black’s testicles strategically go unseen.
"It seemed funny to me, and funny trumped modesty," he said.
Meanwhile, if you’d like to give your ears a taste of the new record, Dead Frog has a streaming clip. Even though there’s a visual gag that can’t be understood in an audio-only presentation, overall the bit is pretty hilarious.
