From A SOCIALITE’S LIFE: Oh Brad Pitt. You certainly know how to make the groins of both genders tingle with adoration. Like, when you talk about how you and your lovely wife are interested in adopting a fifth child, even though you basically already have your huge biceps full of little ones. Or when you manage to juggle your busy family life and bustling movie career with grace and ease. Or when you talk about loving gay stories so much. And let’s be honest, who DOESN’T love a good gay story, other than every closeted actor trying to be butch for the paps and Isaiah Washington?
Brad Pitt Hearts a Good Tale of Man Love
These pictures are great. I love that Angelina’s so serene the whole time, while Brad looks like he’s making the whole, “I’m gesturing at my watch playfully so you guys will see that I really have to run!” look that I remember my dad doing when we were running late getting ready for school. In any case, Brad and Angie have been hitting the red carpet over the weekend in stunning ensembles such as the ones pictured here and fielding questions about their personal lives, as well as Brad’s film, “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.” When faced with the question as to whether or not the film is really a covert gay drama, Brad answered as follows:
“If that’s what works for you, it’s absolutely fine,” he replied.
“You can interpret it as you will but it’s actually much more complex.
“I do love a gay story though.”
I wonder if that means he loved “Dreamgirls” as much as I did. Yeah, I know it’s not about some unrequited love between two men, but there are explosions of glitter, giant hair and coordinated dance moves. And if loving all that stuff is wrong, maybe I don’t want to be right.
