Is Steve Coogan Comedy’s Baddest Influence?
The New York Post, US Weekly and others are reporting that former flame Courtney Love is blaming Steve Coogan (a hero to fans of British comedy) for Owen Wilson’s recent troubles:
"I went through it with Steve," Coogan’s former girlfriend, rocker Courtney Love, told US.
"I was just out of rehab, and he was right there with the drugs."
When told this, one of my friends, a huge Steve Coogan fan, said "Come on! That’s funny!"
Anyway, Coogan issued a statement denying Love’s claims. Who knows what the real story is. I’m just excited for season 2 of Saxondale.
