With the amount of dead horses that get whipped along this crazy road we call the Information Superhighway (at least I still call it that), no genre gets the joy squeezed out of it quite like 80s/early 90s popular culture, including, perhaps worst of all, Super Mario Brothers. For any Mario-related video to jar us out of our jaded bubbles, it had better be pretty freaking outstanding, and the video below — a hacked Super Mario World level that’s only beatable if you don’t touch the controller or any buttons — is simply one of the most mind-boggling things I have ever seen.
