Whether or not you watch the CBS summer reality show gluttony that is Big Brother shouldn’t really matter when it comes to the following clip, which features one contestant, Amber, doing some good ol’ timey Jew bashing. As a Jew — and a self-hating one at that — it sort of surprises me that people still hold onto the ol’ “selfish Jew with the hooked honker” stereotype. And not just that people believe it, but that they actually say it out loud. Something about it just feels so 1939, doesn’t it? If you Klansmen want to get creative, try slamming Jews for something a little more creative than just being greedy… for example, did you know that we as a collective people created Conchineal Red A, a food coloring that can enhance asthma symptoms in those who eat it? Now there’s something to really get angry about, Grand Wiz!
What’s even better about this clip: Jew Hatin’ Amber is expressing her anti-semitic sentiments to Jameka, the only black female contestant on the show, who warns her about halfway through to be careful about what she says, because… you know… she’s being TAPED AND RECORDED 24 HOURS A DAY. Amber responds with an “I can’t keep up with it all, girl!” (nice use of black slang, by the way). And lawd knows, it must be hard remembering that everything you say and do is being watched, recorded and broadcast on a show called BIG BROTHER. Seriously, what Davie, Florida whorehouse did CBS grab this moron out of?
