Man, everybody’s talking about sports today. And it’s no wonder considering the historic news. You know what I’m talking about: Adam “Pacman” Jones is joining TNA wrestling! Man, these sure are eventful times.
Pacman will make his first in-ring appearance Thursday night. According to TNA’s website, this won’t interfere with his football career because “he has been suspended for the 2007 NFL season for off-the-field personal conduct matters.” Anybody know what they’re referring to?
Pacman will reveal his plans for the season on TNA’s August 12 pay-per-view “Hard Justice,” which is fitting because Pacman has always been a long advocate of justice and lawful behavior.
Fellow Tennessee Titans Kule Vanden Bosch, who himself has appeared on TNA wrestling, shared some words of wisdom about Mr. Jones.
“Everything I saw from my experience with TNA is, it is a great company. The organization does things the right way,†Vanden Bosch said. “This could be an opportunity for Pacman to show what kind of person he is, not the way he’s been portrayed.â€
That’s a great point. When you want to show people the real you, there’s no better place to do it than professional wrestling, where, from what I understand, everything is real. And there’s no better way to fight any misconceptions that you may be morally lax and/or prone to violence than to appear on a show where you hit other men with folding chairs. This is a smart move. A smart, smart move.
