So here’s the thing: I don’t enjoy watching babies have and/or simulate having sex, whether it be with another baby or, as the case may be, an oversized stuffed bear. Which is why my brain was a touch upset upon viewing the following commercial for Luvs diapers. As the background music plays, — a cover of “All You Need Is Love”, no less — a tiny baby runs over to the most unsuspecting of plush animals. The baby then simulates sex with said animal. And if you think I have some sort of psychosexual disorder for even noticing this, as I thought for many hours afterwards, my co-workers all agreed that this ad is blatantly promoting baby sex. Look at the way the camera zooms in on his diaper! Not to mention the humiliation on the bear’s face. Really Luvs, you should be ashamed.
