Move over YouTube, SuperDeluxe, Funny or Die, and the four billion other places you can find vaguely amusing short comedy videos on the Internet, because there’s A New Comedy Kid on the Blog! MyDamnChannel, the latest online outpost of short filmed humor, features a variety of initial offerings, some more promising than others (David Wain d*cking around in Brooklyn, Harry Shearer making fun of Dick Cheney some more, etc.), including this mind-exploding clip, called The Landlord 2027, that actually parodies Pearl from Funny or Die, and actually acknowledges how ridiculously “meta” this is all becoming. It hurts to even think about what will happen when Paul Rudd finally unveils Internutty.com with his parody of this parody of Pearl the Landlord. Humor web sites are the new “Middle American comedy club”, and we can’t wait for the Internet’s next virtual Ha Ha Hole.
