For more of this and all the rest of the best of this week in pop culture, tune into a brand new episode of Best Week Ever tonight on Vh1 at 9pm and 11pm ET!
- Some stars are more willing than others to help drum up publicity for their latest movie, but this week Lindsay Lohan, with the help of a little coke and comandeered vehicle, totally outdid herself. If I Know Who Killed Me made a dollar for every time her name was mentioned in the press this week, it would gross enough to make Titanic seem like a tiny arthouse flick.
- We took a peek at the trailer for the ill-conceived new CGI Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, and it gave us a glimpse of all the “rodent eating rodent poop” hilarity it has packed in store for us.
- Holly Hunter + functionally retarded talk show host = the most hilariously awkward publicity interview we’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing.
- We did our “funny list” thing this week with the Top 10 Songs That Should Have Been In “Guitar Hero Rocks The 80′s” and 10 People We’d Rather See Host The Price Is Right other than Drew Carey, who’s latest scheme to return to TV relevancy will likely result in a shameful defiling of the sacred legacy of Bob Barker.
- The brilliant new Kanye West music video featuring a farm-gangsta Zach Galifianakis definitely wins this week’s award for “Funniest Video On the Internet (That Was Actually Intended To Be Funny)”.
- CNN hosted the first ever “YouTube Presidential Debate” and Hillary Clinton ended up fielding a tough question from a talented musician.
- Tom Cruise and his Hollywood team of SuperFamousFriends threw a big celebration of fame to mark the famed arrival of The Beckhams, who are apparently some kind of super-famous British people, here in America. The photos of the event were really fame-y.
- Getting fired from The Bratz Movie leads Paula Abdul to the Nietzschean realization that there is no God and the world is utterly meaningless.
