Here some 8 years since Will Ferrell first donned the grey wig and silly smirk that would become the definitive parody of President Bush, it’s a rare to find anyone who’s able to lampoon the many shortcomings of George W. without resorting to tired, obvious cliches (a recent exception being Lil’ Bush) that would make even Bill Maher want to vote Republican. But by golly if we didn’t chuckle at this video, in which our would-be Commander-In-Chief takes to the YouTubes to candidly discuss his most intimate feelings about the shameful pardoning of his criminal crony Scooter Libby, among various other liberties he’s taken with his executive powers. While not as hilariously earnest as Ferrell’s well-meaning-but-cocky buffoon, this guy still packs enough funny into the performance to elicit a few laughs, no matter your politics.
