As if Elton John changing a few words from “Candle In the Wind” to honor the memory of Princess Diana wasn’t cheesy enough, P. Diddy provided mourners with an un-altered rendition of his hit eulogy rap for The Notorious B.I.G., “I’ll Be Missin’ You”, but offered no explanation of how the “growin’ up in the streets”-themed lyrics somehow apply to the life of a member of the Royal Family, other than the occasional “Give it up for Diana, y’all!” and “So beautiful…so royal” and “If you miss Diana, make some nooooooise!” and what have you. So anyway, this happened:
