Two days ago, we brought you footage of the Spelling Bee winner Evan O’Dorney‘s extreeeemely awkward interview on CNN, where many of you criticized us for posting a clip of a boy who clearly has Asperberger’s Syndrome. Well perhaps you should redirect your ire to the parents of Evan O’Dorney, The O’Dorneys, because clearly, they have no idea their son should be kept off of the TV cameras. CNN is one thing, but Jimmy Kimmel?
We’ll hand it to Kimmel, this bit is pretty funny, with a Mexican “Spelling Bee” reading the words out to Evan. The kid handles himself slightly better than previously, but still manages to throw a couple of mini-fits in the process. So who is really at fault here? Us for posting this clip, or his parents for subjecting him to this sort of torture? ps Are those his parents in the audience, laughing it up? We have a feeling… Glad to see they’re having a blast while his son is being humiliated!
