The Office: Major JAM Revelation?

HONEST PAMMY.JPGBefore any of you complain:
**Spoiler** **Spoiler** **Spoiler** **Spoiler** **Spoiler** **Spoiler**

And it’s a really good one. Let’s take this one in order, shall we? According to the Wiki entry for this episode:

The workers head out to the beach, where Michael forces them to compete in Survivor-like challenges to find out who among them is the best employee so he can find his successor to become manager of Dunder-Mifflin Scranton. Pam is asked to not join any of the games and sits out while being left to watch Jim and Karen have fun.

Aw, dear Pam, bless.

But it seems all that sitting around and brooding causes Pam to have a serious revelation, one that causes her to say something… honest. You can check out the promo here (courtesy of Officetally), but for those of you without sound, and I quote:

Announcer: Then, it’s an office retreat…
Michael: You just gotsta gets your freak on.
Announcer: Where the truth comes out.
Pam: I’ve been trying to be more honest lately… and I just need to say a few things.
(cut to: Shocked looking Jim in baseball cap.)

SUMO OFFICE.JPGOh. Holy. ESS!!! Is this it?! IS THURSDAY THE DAY WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR ALL SEASON!? Will new “Honest Pam” finally confess her feelings to Jim, and better yet – in front of Karen? And as a result, will spunky Jim return and take sort of boring, tired Jim away from us once and for all?

All signs point to “Yes”, as Jenna Fischer instructs the masses on her popular Myspace blog “Not to miss it.” And why would we? With Harold Ramis directing (the same man responsible for A Benihana Christmas, the hilarious Safety Training, and Dr. Egon Spengler), and Pam showing her true feelings, this might very literally be the episode of the season, and dare we say, series?
