On Monday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hosted a screening of Star Wars: Episode IV, The Good One. To go with it, the Lucas minions CGI’ed up this clip, in which Darth Vader uses the force to strangle a guy who interupts the movie with his cellphone. As far as “Turn Your Damn Phone Off During The Film” public service announcements go, it can’t live up to BWE panelist Rob Huebel’s Inconsiderate Cell Phone Man, but it’s pretty solid and, really, you can never have too many Force Chokings. The best part, though, is that the guy who gets choked looks a lot like Dane Cook.
The power to strangle Dane Cook from afar? Now that would be something worthing going over to the Dark Side for.
