A blind item in today’s NY Daily News is a real shiny noodle scratcher. It reads:
Which pop tart is attending basketball games, according to NBA gossip, owing to a crush on a player with a history of sexual assault accusations?
If only we have photographic evidence of a pop starlet attending dozens of Laker Games! And if only said Starlet was some ridiculous get-up, like a crazy hat or huge goggle-specs, you know… something to make us notice her.
The real confusion in this blind item isn’t so much the identity of the starlet, but rather the L.A. Laker in question. Both Kobe Bryant and Lakers Center Kwame Brown have been charged with sexual assault… so congrats guys. Some bald orphan is lookin’ for one of ya.
And in completely unrelated news, that rumor about Britney Spears‘ crush on the 6’8″ Luke Walton is totally not true. And thank God — we’re pretty sure Walton doesn’t have an arrest record. But you didn’t hear that from us.
