Everybody knows that the Academy Awards Ceremony is one big four-hour-long self-congratulatory pat on the back that celebrates Hollywood’s elite… but who cares?? Everybody’s wearing fancy outfits! Hooray!

If you’re not a part of the Hollywood elite (I’m looking at you, Biggs), chances are you’re not “in the loop” regarding all the inside jokes that tend to take place during an Oscar telecast. Well lucky for you (Biggs), Deadline Hollywood compiled a list of 7 spoilers and things to look for this Sunday night. So when your friend’s friend who showed up uninvited to your Oscar party asks “Why does everybody find it so funny that Tom Cruise is presenting the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award to Sherry Lansing?” you can reply “Because over the years Lansing has greenlit several Cruise vehicles and in 2006 both were released from Viacom by Sumner Redstone… you f**king idiot.” Then spit on them for good measure.
