It’s fun making proclamations that things are “back!” In fact, I’d go as far as saying that it’s even more fun that deciding what’s “hot” what’s “not” and what’s “so five minutes ago.” When you stand up and declare that something is back it’s impossible for somebody to argue with you. If they disagree, you can simply brush them off and explain that they’re obviously behind the curve and that sooner or later they’ll come around and see that you’re right. Basically, what I’m trying to say, is that saying things are “back” is a great way to be a dick to your friends. And who doesn’t love that?
So that’s why here at BWE.tv we’re introducing a new feature called Back in ’07. Every week we’re going to let you know what’s returned in the world of pop culture. First up, the catchphrase “Not the mamma” from the 1991 TV show Dinosaurs. You heard it here first, people- Not the mamma is sooooo back in ’07.
